Oats Porridge

A healthy and quick oats porridge made with rolled oats and almond mil which makes it complete vegan. This is an easy, low fat porridge made in just 8 minutes.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water + 1 cup vegan milk
  • 2 tablespoon sugar or to taste
  • Toppings: raspberry blackberries and pomegranate arils

Instructions

  • Take the oats in a pan. Add 2 cups water and 1 cup milk. Consistency can be easily adjusted as per your requirements.
  • Add sugar as per taste. Sugar is completely optional. If adding fruits later, then you can skip sugar.
  • Stir very well and heat the porridge mixture on a low to medium flame. Do stir often and allow the porridge to simmer. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Top with Raspberries, Blackberries and pomegranate arils. Serve oats porridge hot or warm or at room temperature.
